1966 Chevy Nova

I think i havent posted here before, but i`m just getting back to the building models after some years off.

so to the car. its a 1966 Chevy Nova with a nissan fj20e-t engine just for the fun of it

i think i`m going with a stock chassis and interior. maybe a 4pt rollbar and low profil tires and big wheels (minilite)

Change of engine, going to use a V8. Look at last post

Now this is cool, nice engine choice, what kit is it from, assuming Tamiya, Skyline or Silvia?

the engine is from a early aoshima kit, a nissan silvia (my pro street build) dont know much about it but the engine is a nice one with turbo and intercooler.

Ah so, I sii you had to jus' a hammer to fitt the motor in se car....... naw, just kidding... sorry, couldn't help myself..... A bit tired now, guess I better go to sleep, eh...?

a small update. had to paint the hood black (semi gloss), painted the grille, and found the minilites(silver version)

i started to mount a Mustang II front suspension today. it will free up some space and give a modern r/p steering.

i`m not sure about the wheels but it looks like some watanabes. i belive they are made by fujimi

did some mods to inner fenders to clear turbo and intake.

have started to paint the interior(two tone cream and copper met.)

and i got the chassis painted base color. now for some detail painting

got some done last night, painted the enginebay black, got some red on engine with some detail brushing. still some painting on engine left.

going to modify the ex.manifold some more.

the mII setup is from a friends partsbox, dont know what kit it`s from.

hi

change of direction engine wise. i didn`t get the exhaust maifold for the turbo right. did multiple try in makin a header. but did not work.

Going back to a v8 from revell camaro, 302 crossram. did not want to put an ordinary 350 in it.

also had to mod a spare hood for clearance.

and i`ve started the foiling work.

a small update. wife did not like the hood so i had to try again, and i must say liked the second version better better.

allso started to wire the engine. and clean up the headers. tries to make some better shift linkage.

and i had to find some other wheels and tires, small wheelwells on this car
