Thor Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 (edited) Hi I think i havent posted here before, but i`m just getting back to the building models after some years off. so to the car. its a 1966 Chevy Nova with a nissan fj20e-t engine just for the fun of it i think i`m going with a stock chassis and interior. maybe a 4pt rollbar and low profil tires and big wheels (minilite) Change of engine, going to use a V8. Thor Posted December 10, 2008 Author Posted December 10, 2008 got some done last night, painted the enginebay black, got some red on engine with some detail brushing. still some painting on engine left. going to modify the ex.manifold some more. the mII setup is from a friends partsbox, dont know what kit it`s from. hammer...frustration....naahh not me some cars never gets finished Thor
Thor Posted December 28, 2008 Author Posted December 28, 2008 hi change of direction engine wise. i didn`t get the exhaust maifold for the turbo right. did multiple try in makin a header. but did not work. Going back to a v8 from revell camaro, 302 crossram. did not want to put an ordinary 350 in it. also had to mod a spare hood for clearance. and i`ve started the foiling work.

Thor Posted January 9, 2009 Author Posted January 9, 2009 a small update. wife did not like the hood so i had to try again, and i must say liked the second version better better. allso started to wire the engine. and clean up the headers. tries to make some better shift linkage. and i had to find some other wheels and tires, small wheelwells on this car
