Here is another long on the bench restoration. Took me a long time to find the decals. I think I need to print some more because it looks like I did not interpret the instructions properly regarding the rear frame decals.

I did not like the lumps of sprue they called springs so I wrapped some brass wire around some plastic rod that gave me the proper diameter and I was able to get the car to sit nice n low.

This kit has a lot of the parts of the upcoming covered wagon kit. Great tires and wheels will be in that kit for old digger restorations.

There is a lot of Alclad on this one. I am starting to like Alclad better than chrome because it is not bulky on fine parts like plating is.

Paint is Tamiya clear red over gold. The helmet is a light dusting of Alclad Pale Gold over black. The motor is that new Testors gold from thier first batch of colors.

A lot of detail painting makes the kit really pop.

I must say I REALLY like the looks of this kit much more than I was expecting.

nice build you have there . so is this a 1/25th scale kit or is it bigger like the grid iron grabber and the chuck wagon? sometimes it is hard to get these kits to look decent but you have done a great job especially with the paint!
