Construction Transport Loading - UPDATE!!!!!

Recommended Posts

This is 95% complete, I'm still working on the details and placement. Been re-arranging the placement of the vehicles more and more to find the perfect spot. Working on painting figures, which are not the best in details or features. Trying to find other figures, that will look much better than the ones I'm working on presently. Slowly but surely things are hopefully falling into position. Got to add the hydraulic spillage and more weathering here and there before calling it quits. The scale I'm working on is 1/35. The theme is simple and is part of usual transport method, in certain countries. Not sure if it is done every exactly, but have seen several types of methods being used to put a front loader into a shipping container. This is just one of the methods used. Hope you all like the images. Apology for the bad photos. Will take better ones when done.

You do have some brilliant ideas, Charles..... and this one is no exception!

These models and dioramas of yours are so interesting, and I am sure they inspire many model builders on here....... myself included of course.

Thank you so much David. I try a stay fresh with different themes that are the norm in the world. I kinda like everyday scenerios. It makes modeling interesting.

Thanks Greg. I have seen these before and have a few already, although most are in 1/24 scale. But might have others in mind. Appreciate your help greatly.

Your builds are always amazing! There is so much to see in each one! They are so realistic too! This one is another work of art!

Thank you kindly Brian.

  • 2 weeks later...

Thank you Kerry. Glad you approve.

I kitbashed/scratch built a mobile trailer caddy unit for the trailer. Since I am not able to put a tractor in front of the trailer, I thought it would make an interesting eye candy for the viewer and for the scene as a whole. There are different weight variations of these units. I decided to go with one that would almost handle the weight of this trailer in case the the landing legs would give way.
