Two 1965 Dodge Coronet 500

Recommended Posts

These are the Polar Lights kits. I built the red one over 10 years ago and decided to change it out. Put mags, quad carburetors and decided to paint the interior black. Change the hood out to the dual scoop. I think it came out ok. I dolled them up a bit.

Great looking update on the red car. This build still looks fresh today. The yellow car makes a great looking sleeper for the street. Very nice finishes on both.

Thank you. I can't take credit for the finishes as there are those pre-painted Polar Lights kits. But I did paint things like the exhaust. Manifolds. Suspension, A little bright chrome here and there.  I will say the 2 piece wheels were really hard to get into the tires. I actually took a small screwdriver and used it the same way I did when mounting tires at the gas station. We had a manual old school tire mount like in the photo.

They look great Micheal. I have a convertible to build also.

I have two convertibles to build as well.  One in teal and one in gold and I'll do the same thing with those.
