Forget the Challenger, but there actually is a conversion kit for your late model Charger...  This doesn't look all that bad!

O ya this would work for me.

Ran across this while scanning the web this morning.  Wonder what this general body of enthusiasts think about it.  Not sure if it is real or a pretty good photoshop.  Base car is a Toyota Supra MkIV with a Charger nose grafted on it.  The mechanics look like they would work fairly well, although I believe the Charger nosepiece would need to be narrowed.  However the aesthetics of such a build kind of leave me wondering what the designer was thinking.

How about this one?  [Spoiler alert: it is real!]

For only $500,000 plus or minus they'll restomod an original P1800 for you with modern trappings.

Got a set of wheels that are close if you are interested.

Lolz. When I said I wanted to build one of his kits, I meant the actual 1:1 kit!

I get the idea, but will say the Charger front does not suit the Supra.

I like the Charger front myself, and went about changing the front on a couple of my Nissan Skyline builds to be some what like the hidden headlight.

1:1 Skyline.

The kit I used the body from.

And how it looks after all the mods.

The other kit same style mod.

Nothing accurate or serious about either build. Just trying out ideas, maintaining and developing body work skills and having fun trying to build something different.

Alright, it seems some people really like to play with the parts and pieces of MOPARs, so what are your thoughts on this one?  It has a pretty bad photoshop going on, but the idea is there.

What a waste of a perfectly good Charger grill.

I don’t think there’s much of the original P1800 left when the “restomod” is done — the roof and chassis number IIRC. It’s more a badass carbon supercar with some P1800 design cues...

best,

M.

Big Pass!! 🖓

But maybe try the Charger grill on the Challenger and see how that works.

Looks pretty typical for s good number of automotive customizers that think they have some great flair for automotive design.

more often than not, it winds up just looking stupid.

How to make a 'Cuda look like a Valiant.  OTOH, at least the grill doesn't look like the new XXXL BMW grill treatment.  I really, really hate the new design.  https://tinyurl.com/2er2zt3e

My 2 1394703038_mrhorse.png.eccafd403cc550adf1170594a1f06b65.pngcents is that there should be more to a custom car than installing a different grill on a car. I think  the  car as a whole should come together as a seamless  package. Just my thoughts. so'....
