Raul_Perez Posted December 29, 2008 Posted December 29, 2008 Planning on it. I think 1/24 scale would be the easiest I need to get some pins to insert though the top of the table to hold the legs on. I have a work table in my garage that I wouldnt mind duplicating in it. Straight sewing pins work well. You can also make it from plastic stock and paint it when you're done...
Clay Posted December 30, 2008 Author Posted December 30, 2008 Ok guys, got a little bit more work done on this trailer getting it closer to the road. Ok I only did the table The table top is in 1/24 scale 5ft long and 3 ft wide. The legs are a little bit shorter than 3ft. Enjoy
Semi Trailer Mechanic Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 What's goin' on... Clay I too will keep an eye on this project as you progress. A hobby shop near me has a few different Galaxies and I've been tempted to get a couple. This one looks like it's got a lot of potential and the directions for detailing it are endless. I was thinking about getting one for a flat bed trailer load. (Being shipped from the MFG to the dealer)

Depending on the price I would get 2 of the shortest ones to not make the driver's trip worthless. Even though they get paid regardless. Speaking of that, we were suppose to have a 20ft shelter delivered to us last week, when the truck got to our shipping section, no one was there. So it got sent back to Albany Ga. Now its on its way back. Nice payday for that trucker.
MikeMc Posted January 1, 2009 Posted January 1, 2009 Also, could someone tell me what a foot would be in 1/24, 1/25 scale? I am planing on making a table out of some balsa plywood. C'mon Marine....you know a foot is 12 inches in any scale!!!!
Clay Posted January 1, 2009 Author Posted January 1, 2009 Maybe I should have paced it out, OH MAN WHERES MY COMPASS?
