Here is the second one of the "barn finds"

Found this one 2 years ago. It has since then joined my new builds in the display. I just cleaned it and put it in a display case.

Famous 3n1 kit. gotta love those. I built this in 1984-85 or so. I clearly remember going to the hardware store next door and getting a can of hi heat engine enamel. For some weird reason I was thinking it could protect it from heat. Go figure. :lol: I also remember taping the wheels and the air filters to a cardboard and spraying them gold, at the back corner of the house outside. The red interiors I think were painted with mom's floral paint.

I also clearly remember putting an additional chrome timing cover in the firewall as a "pretty touch" :oops: Hey I was 14 or so then :)

Ohh the memories......

Cool build. Its nice to find your old builds. Here is one of mine from over 20 yrs ago. Jo-Han 70 442. Built after I read an article in SAE.
