Geezerman Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 I just finished this up before I had to make an emergency trip to Indiana. Now that I have gotten back, I've been able to get it photographed. This was a resin chopped T coupe. At the time I butchered it, I didn't realize that it was a R&RoM resin kit. But I don't care for the look of a turtle deck on a chopped coupe, and I didn't want it chopped (I got this in a swap) Took off the deck and raised the roof Parts Pac Caddy, R&R0M caddy aircleaner, scratched frame, and salvage yard stuff. Old NASCAR body gave up sheet metal for the back of the body and the cab corners. Some build fotos: http://public.fotki.com/drasticplasticsmcc...tz/1/dechopt-t/
Clay Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 Nice build, but I would have left it chopped. Now when you say butchered what do you mean?
Geezerman Posted December 7, 2008 Author Posted December 7, 2008 Nice build, but I would have left it chopped. Now when you say butchered what do you mean? I preferred it not chopped and by butchered I simply meant that was a $22 kit by the best resin caster in the business that I cut up.

Slim Louis Posted December 8, 2008 Posted December 8, 2008 You aquired it "as is" and had little control over that. Then you made it the way you wanted it! I love it! Have fun with it, thats what I say! Love the exposed gas tank, too!
