lucky13 Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 im not sure im callinf in right but how do i go about flocking something like a floor for a car so it looks like real carpet thanks
randx0 Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 I will assume you already have the flocking from kens kustom fuzzy fur or detail master or Pegasus or some other after market supplier .they usually include directions but the basic run down is as follows number 1 sift flocking so there are no lumps or clumps 2 apply a small amount of paint in the area you want to flock (work in small areas not all at once)3 sprinkle flocking onto painted area put way more flocking on than you need.4lightly scrunch down the flocking with a pencil eraser 5 shake excess flocking onto paper plate so you can reuse . this is a basic instructions that can be modified to suit your needs and /or abilities hope this helps
