Check your listing for TLC. This show will definetly bring a smile to your face. The work these people go to on their houses is nothing short of amazing. They've added additional breaker boxes and outlets in the yard, extra exterior house and outlets on the roof. I still cannot decide if I want one of these people for my neighbor or not..... But check this show out!

Have you ever seen National Lampoons Christmas vacation?

I dont know about the US but in the UK excessive exterior decoration went into overdrive once this film came out.
