Oh man, that’s gonna look spectacular once all the chrome bits are done!

Thanks Tom.  Like my grandpappy use to say.....hope for the best and expect the worst.

Looking fantastic Bob, that white should really pop once the chrome work is complete. Great job on the 409, those are great looking engines.

Cheers, Steve

Looks great Bob. You going to foil it? I ordered some bare metal foil and will be trying it for the first time when I get around to building mine.

Thanks man.  Yup, It's getting the dreaded foil.  Last model I foiled I had an issue with it sticking as others on here will tell you the same.  I'm hoping for the best and expecting the worst.

Got the body painted & cleared the other day.  This morning I did the wet sanding and polishing.  Tomorrow morning I'll start the foil work.   I'm hoping the foil covers all the rough edges of the white.

Looks real smooth. The foil should cover the transition between the blue and the white. Be sure there is no parting line between the colors from when you masked the area.

Thanks Dave.  I'll keep an eye out for any parting line.

Thanks man.  I'm going to start the foil work in the morning.  I may have to go get some new blades.

Well, if memory serves me correct the last time I used BMF it didn't want to stick very well.  I have some of the older and a pack of the new so this will be interesting.

Use the old pack, I had issues with two new sheets, luckily I found enough ‘old’ stuff to get my Camaro foiled.

Thanks for the heads up Tom.

Got one side done but not sure if I like how it came out.  The old foil looked to wrinkled so I went with the new.

Looks great from here!

Thank Chaz.  I think I need to lay off the coffee when I'm cutting the foil.

Well, not so good on the foil this morning.  That back end like to drove me nuts.  Once again the foil didn't want to stay down very good and I pulled it off 3 time and managed to mess the paint up in a couple spots.  Not really a good line on the bottom side for the blade to follow.  Its on and that's as good as it's going to get.  To much foil work on this car for me.
