Don B
Hi all, since Iv'e been dragging my feet so long on the 69 Super Bee 6 Pack here is another kit I've been working on. It's a mix of a resin 66 Buick Skylark GS body from A/FX Resin and a 66 AMT Riviera and Modelhaus resin interior and chassis Parts. Here are pics of the body and Modelhaus parts before and after. More to come soon I hope. Comments welcome. Don B The A/FX resin body before I cut the hood out After I cut the hood and added the 66 Riv's radiator support Modelhaus resin chassis before I filled the screw holes After I filled the screw holes and detailed the chassis the best I could The Modelhaus resin interior before. Not much much detail to work with And after I painted and detailed it Edited December 24, 2008 by Don B

Dragon7665
WOW AMAZING JOB SO FAR!!! I will be watching this one, as I got an Original kit to rebuild.....
MojaveRacer208
You've done a fine job on that chassis for what it is. Have you considered using the chassis from one of the later versions of Chevelle or GTO? They should be virtually identical chassis to the Buick, even the same basic body structure (look at the roof!) and have some great chassis. FordRodnKustom
Great start on your Buick Don! Outstanding interior details considering what you had to work with. Good choice of subject too. You don't see these "gentleman's" musclecars built up too often. Where are you going to source the Nailhead from?
Ron Hamilton
That's lookin'good!!! I have an original unbuilt '66 Skylark Kit I will get around to one day. The AMT '66 Riviera has the best Nailhead engine in scale. I want to do a replica stock '66 Buick trilogy with a Wildcat GS, Skylark, and Riviera GS. Don B
Thanks guys for the kind words on my build. Mojaveracer, yes I was thinking of going with a Chevelle chassis but I wanted to try to keep the original look of the model. Not to easy to detail but a challenge. Ron S, I'm going with the nailhead mill from the AMT 66 Buick modified stocker as that is the same mill in the original kit. I will have pics of the mill with the mods I made soon. RodneyBad
Great looking chassis, Can't even see where you filled in the screw holes. I think you swapped chassis on us. Interior is great looking. seat belts add soo much more. What's the differance in the dashes?
