This is a LeMans Miniatures 1970 Porsche 917 LH, but it's built by a company called Spark Models. Beautifully done.

Kind of a Christmas present to myself.

That is 1/43rd scale isn't it. Spark does put out some great stuff. Great model of a great car.

Nope--it's 1/24. I don't build or collect 1/43. They tell me only 120 built examples were done.

That is beautiful. I have the Fisher Models kit. HMM! I must build it one day....along with my other 20 917 kits!!!!

It is amazing what Spark and Bizarre and a few others have done with the handbuilt business. They moved it to China and produce very high quality "resincasts" for less than the price of of the usual kits.
