Mike C. Posted December 17, 2021 Posted December 17, 2021 (edited) I ordered one of these from a diecast source. I'm goal is to combine this 1/24 diecast toy with one of the Revell kits and see if I can build a new Blazer kit. The wheels/tires don't look all that terrible until you look at the back. It looks like I might be able to use the frame if I shorten it slightly. If so, I can ditch that bogus chrome engine for the more realistic Revell unit. Edited December 17, 2021 by Mike C.
Mike C. Posted December 17, 2021 Author Posted December 17, 2021 It's definitely getting repainted some kind of orange with a black top. Its also a prime candidate for those Aoshima wheel/tire sets. I'd like to put an earlier (76) grill. I'm hoping that works out.
Mike C. Posted December 17, 2021 Author Posted December 17, 2021 Well after a little diecast grinding, I was able to fit the earlier grill but not perfect. Watch out this stuff can get quite hot when you take the Dremel to it. Ouch!
