Thanks for the kind words. It’s funny cuz the bottom of the tub is stamped 57 cameo, but sold as 55. My research found 55 was only offered in ivory white and red/gypsy red. Scale finishes only had the gypsy, so thought that would be the authentic color for red in 1955. The subsequent years 56-58 offered other body trim colors. Maybe this kit will float to the surface of the purple pond and be revived.
