You gotta build the shorty.

I'll build it eventually and put it on a trailer behind the van.? should I put the engine in the back?

I'd love to see you warp it a little bit more, and do a "Deal's Wheels" style car-toon vehicle; it has almost perfect proportions for a Dave Deal buildup! Open the rear wheel openings and throw on some High Bloatation rubber, put a blower peeking thru the hood, and a cool straight axle under the front!

Not sure about the boat, but the car is the Olds Aerotech, it was used for R&D and set a bunch of records with the Olds Quad 4 and Aurora V8 engines.

Is this a resin body or did you modify a Cobra body?

I modified the AMT Cobra, HRM is going to offer it as a resin transkit.  Here is how I accomplished it.

Awesome!

Will order a resin copy when they are available.

If I can just get a couple of days of decent weather, I should be able to finish up my current project. After that, this one is next. My entry for this years Cannon Ball Run, it is my first 3D Printed body (purchased). Ultimately it may end up being a little beyond my capabilities but I feel confident I can make it look good on the shelf.

Thanks. I might pick up the aerotech. The boats a tad too pricey for me.

Some hacking and slashing from the parts bins has brought this to light, 36 cowl and doors, 37 fenders and rear body, 39 roof section.
it needs a lot of smoothing and refinement but I think it will be one worth going further with.

Here’s another that I put up several years ago. The plan was for an all electric hot rod with a carbon fiber body and hubless wheels.

Hi John!

Very interesting concept, bravo! Is-this a body that you scratch-built yourself? I'm intrigued...

It’s a mix of a 34 ford a corvette and the alumna coupe. It’s been years since I worked in it. Hopefully I can get it done this time.
