All the 3D models of MaNyKustom・Cults Thanks for the link Ken, they have some really good stuff there. I plan to keep this one mainly OOB... at least as much as I can. But I'll certainly throw their site into my favorites bar for future reference. =D- 1
Spottedlaurel Posted January 26 Posted January 26 (edited) Fairly simple curbside but nicely porportioned and detailed kit by Fujimi of the Isuzu 117 Coupe: Painted Tamiya Titanium Silver and clearcoated but not yet polished. Period-looking Dunlop wheels and tyres are from the Tamiya Lotus Europa Special. Edited January 26 by Spottedlaurel 9

There was a warp in the hood on the one I built and I was unable to get it to fit properly. It looks like the one in your photo may have the same issue. Thanks, David G. It is the revell version. It looks off in the picture as there's tape holding the radiator to the nose cone. I think it sit flat. 1

Can-Con Posted February 2 Posted February 2 Got the chassis and suspension pretty well worked out on my square body GM build. A good buddy of mine printed out a couple sets of custom LS engine covers as a surprise for me. Pretty cool. 1
fun9c1 Posted February 2 Posted February 2 I love this thread. So much imagination here! I bought this one years ago on ebay as a started kit. Someone had glued some of the engine and suspension together, but nothing was painted. A couple weeks ago I saw an absolutely perfect 1:1 black on black '62 bubble top 4 speed 409 online for sale and I had to bust this out and replicate it. The 1:1 was a street car with dog dish hub caps, but I am keeping the S/S stance, exhaust, and bare steelies of the 1:25. 5
fun9c1 Posted February 2 Posted February 2 This one has been shelved for probably 10 years, but this thread is inspiring me to get back to it. The plan is for it to be a phantom factory stock super bee "truck". I think I'm going to switch the tail lights to '68 Dart ones so it can have a traditional tailgate. I figure those are the tail lights Dodge would have probably used. 11
TopherMcGinnis Posted February 2 Posted February 2 Someone built one out of a station wagon and added '67 Charger grille and instrumentation. 7
VanGoGo Posted February 3 Posted February 3 A mostly stock '64.5 Mustang, coke bottle rims, slight rake, the scoop was a leftover from a '55 chevy kit, we had a break in the weather two weeks ago so I hurried to get some paint on it...now the rains are back, good weather to stay indoors and put stuff together 7

Steve, that is one of the most, if not THE most 1:1 looking photo I've ever seen of the scenery around a 1/25 model. The model is gorgeous, too. Very inspirational. Nice work! I would love to know how you did that asphalt. The whole thing is amazing.

Looks better outside with finished builds. There is a build thread in the WIP section. 6
