Smoke Wagon Posted January 24, 2022 Posted January 24, 2022 Has to be complete and unstarted. I’m sure I’ll have something(s) to trade that you might be interested in. Thanks, -Riley Quote
Kris Morgan Posted January 24, 2022 Posted January 24, 2022 There is supposed to be an AMT or MPC Bronco reissued this year. I am not sure what model year though. Quote

You’re right, the AMT 1978-79 “Wild Hoss” Bronco is supposed to hit shelves this year, I don’t know about you but I’ll be tempted to grab an armful of those if I see them at my closest hobby shop. The kit I’m looking for right now however is of the body style after that one, like this; Edited January 25, 2022 by Smoke Wagon Quote
Oldcarfan27 Posted January 25, 2022 Posted January 25, 2022 If scale isn't too big of an issue, you might also try for the Monogram Bronco. Much more common and IMO much more accurate looking too. I enjoyed them much more than the MPC kit. Not my kits, just copied from online for reference. Quote

Oldcarfan27 Posted January 25, 2022 Posted January 25, 2022 Actually, it's the other way around. The body and grille is more boxy on the MPC, the roof is 3 pieces and assembly is more fussy. I've had both and I threw out the MPC long ago and still have the Monogram. In fact I've used another one and a F350 to make a 90 Bronco and 83 extended cab pickup. I like it that much! Quote
Smoke Wagon Posted January 25, 2022 Author Posted January 25, 2022 I built Revellogram’s “79” (80-81) F-150 Flareside a while back and found it to be pretty slab-sided as well. I can’t speak for the Bronco kit, but the F-150 kit’s engine bay is completely incorrect as well. I’m glad you like the Monogram kits, but I’ll stick with the MPC kit for what I have in mind. Although, do you have a picture of the ‘90 Bronco you made? That sounds like a great build and idea. Quote
