W Humble
Back, hat in hand: I really need for a '55 Chevy 1/25 model; front and rear bumpers, tail-lites, and plastic glass. I'm finishing a mashup '55Delray two-door 'post' sedan to replicate my first car in 1961, and some kind of evil spirit has swiped these parts -- I guess!? I have a lot of really old (1960-65 era) kit stuff to trade; mostly bumpers, grilles and wheel covers, if we can make an exchange. I'm doing that ride, my '51 Ford club coupe, '65 Pontiac Tempest Custom HT, and my '70 240Z, for starters. Also, I'm trying to finish a replica (using the old Revell kit - fiddley!!) of my little bro's '55 BelAir HT, as he has a touch of chronic leukemia now. Age seventy and above gets a bit scarey. "Getting old isn't for cowards!" the bumper-sticker says! Thanks !!!
Casey
Do you need the AMT '55 Bel Air Sedan, newer Revell '55 Bel Air Hardtop, or vintage Revell '55 Bel Air hardtop parts?
W Humble
Well, you may not believe this, but the replica is made from two kits, one the Monogram (yes, I know: 1/24) '56 2-dr sedan (post) and the old Revell '55 2-dr HT.* My windshield came out of the old box (shelf many years, like most of my stuff) with a beautiful tile-melt print on the inside. The mashup really came out very well, with 'way too much labor and time... I also had to create the DelRay upholstery pattern, which is unique and pretty attractive. So, can you help? :-<) *I didn't realize that there was a '55 post kit until I'd gotten quite far along, OC. Wick
