customline Posted January 29, 2022 Posted January 29, 2022 'Here's a pair of coupes that I have left un-chopped for whatever reason I might have had. It may have been just laziness, I dunno ? 3
espo Posted January 29, 2022 Posted January 29, 2022 Both are great looking builds. Not all coupes were chopped in the past and it's nice to have a little head room anyway. Great looking paint and well detailed drivetrains. The wheels and tires look right on both.
customline Posted January 29, 2022 Author Posted January 29, 2022 Thanks, Dave. I found another one while searching my photos. Un-chopped. 1
bisc63 Posted January 29, 2022 Posted January 29, 2022 I think it's refreshing to see one not chopped! The little coupes are good looking just as they are. I really like that dark blue one; it just has the look and stance. Love the color on the gold one. What gold paint did you use?

That's Testor's Extreme Lacquer rattle can. I think they called it something like "gold metalflake" but it looks just like Inca gold. I really like that paint but the cans really suck. Very difficult to push the valve down with my arthritic fingers. Had to use two hands. The blue deuce is just OOB but I probably opened up the front cross member a bit. Ray, Rusty, Larry, and Bill, thanks for the comments! Edited January 30, 2022 by customline Spelling
Koellefornia Kid Posted January 30, 2022 Posted January 30, 2022 By the way you detailed the builds I wouldn't speak of laziness! Both look very cool!
Dave Armstrong Posted January 30, 2022 Posted January 30, 2022 They all look great! And not EVERYTHING needs to be chopped, so don't sweat it.

I was trying to be humorous, Ollie, but sometimes I just want a certain look that's rattling around in my head and voila!

Naaah.....all the cans are different and many won't work. Now if there was a set of pistol grip spray things, I might be interested ?
