I really would liked to have been there, but I just couldn't make it...Maybe next year.

Instead of going to that show, or the Cape Cod show, or anywhere interesting at all, I spent more then 20 hours over three days working in the basement, getting covered in dust and other unfun things, going through ###### that hasn't been touched since 1995, or earlier, the farther back I got.

Good news is, after Toledo I will finally have a permanent workspace. I also found the remains of an old model I had done with my dad, long long ago. Had forgotten about it until I saw it. Also found some old family photos dating to the 1800s (!) I will scan the ones with old cars soon...there are a few.

Mark it on your calendar now...September 16th, 2007 from 9-2.

I haven't spoken to any of the club officers about it yet, but I'm hoping to add 2 more classes and I have some ideas pinging around in my head for next year's theme. This year's theme (Long Roof Cars) was a boffo success, with participation second only to "Factory Stock 1950 and later" which is always the "monster" class at our show.
