Semi Trailer Mechanic Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 What's goin' on... Here's my latest project. This is the Model King / AMT 79 Ford 3/4 ton 4x4 I'm building as a trucking fleet service truck. So far the "Business End" is finished up. Next I'll concentrait on the interior. Thanks for looking!!!
Old Albion Posted January 4, 2009 Posted January 4, 2009 Scott, Interesting looking truck. I like the tools and equipment details in the lockers and in the back of the truck. Good Luck with the rest of the build. Best Wishes Dave Bates
Turbo590 Posted January 4, 2009 Posted January 4, 2009 Scott... I agree with the equipment..very realistic looking.. All you need to do now..is run it down a few dusty/dirty roads..get it in some mud... Kurt
Eshaver Posted January 4, 2009 Posted January 4, 2009 VERY NICE, LETS SEE MO PICHERS.................. Ed Shaver
framescr8pintoy Posted January 6, 2009 Posted January 6, 2009 is that what i was hoping to see in the bed.... a big blue miller??
fordh8r Posted January 6, 2009 Posted January 6, 2009 That's pretty cool! I like seeing all the things you would be familiar with seeing in an actual service truck like the welder and all the tools. Looks good! How much, if any, of that did you have to scratch build?
Semi Trailer Mechanic Posted January 7, 2009 Author Posted January 7, 2009 What's goin' on... Thanks for the compliments fellas!!! Yes that's supposed to be a Miller stick welder/gernerator. Several tools I scratchbuilt and other were from the FUJIMI (sp) tools kit. There's a couple more things I'd like to add to this then I'll probably start the interior. Later on I'll take some better quallity pictures as this progress'.
