M W Elky Posted February 20, 2022 Posted February 20, 2022 I didn’t know this Willy’s gasser existed until I saw this issue. That’s all it took, I just had to build it. I started with the amt Willy’s double kit and cut the hood away from the fenders then glued fenders to the body. I used the amt parts pack small block Chevy with the blower & belt, hydro transmission, chassis, interior , rear wheels, leaf springs, and ladder bars from the Willy’s kit. The headers are from revells anglia, the front suspension is cut down coil springs along with the steel wheels from amt’s 1962 bel air kit ,with parts box radius rods and aluminum tubing. The rear end came out of the amt 1967 comet. The decals came from scale modeling by Chris, whom, unfortunately, I believe is no longer with us. 1
