1959scudetto Posted March 26, 2022 Posted March 26, 2022 (edited) The famous Ken Miles/Denny Hulme runner-up car of Le Mans 1966 - out-of-the-box-built in 1990, photos from 2005 - spray-painted from the can. Main issue is the tire-lettering: I could not apply the rub-on decals, so I went for some decals from the spares which are too big - will be reworked some day. Here together with its sister car, the winning #2 (Bruce McLaren/Chris Amon) Edited March 27, 2022 by 1959scudetto 1
Rich Chernosky Posted March 26, 2022 Posted March 26, 2022 Looks good Helmut..you did a masterful job. Ken Miles should have been the winner....he was well in the lead when they gave the order for the photo finish, 1

spencer1984 Posted March 29, 2022 Posted March 29, 2022 Looks great, nicely done! Also, glad to hear I wasn't the only one that couldn't get the tire transfers to cooperate.

That is why I switched to conventional decals.
