1959scudetto
The famous Ken Miles/Denny Hulme runner-up car of Le Mans 1966 - out-of-the-box-built in 1990, photos from 2005 - spray-painted from the can. Main issue is the tire-lettering: I could not apply the rub-on decals, so I went for some decals from the spares which are too big - will be reworked some day. Here together with its sister car, the winning #2 (Bruce McLaren/Chris Amon) Edited March 27, 2022 by 1959scudetto
Rich Chernosky
Looks good Helmut..you did a masterful job. Ken Miles should have been the winner....he was well in the lead when they gave the order for the photo finish,

spencer1984
Looks great, nicely done! Also, glad to hear I wasn't the only one that couldn't get the tire transfers to cooperate.

That is why I switched to conventional decals.
