Hi all, I have not been here for some time.  Here are tires and wheels I made from this Mutang kit.  These wheels are clear but not really optically clear.  Tires are not hard to make.  These are made from Polytek PT Flex 70 resin with dye added.

I do have a question about these wheels.  Do any of you have any idea why the wheel is made with this tapered design?  This seems odd to me.

I do have a Holy Grail Resin Model Parts page on fb.  You can search and join if you like.

Could it be because the tamiya tyres that were in this kit are really soft in the first release and it helped it sit level once built? I had the kit during the 90s and after a wheel swap with the alfa dtm car it never sat quite right so it might have been down to the taper

The taper is probably just a draft angle so the wheel can be easily ejected from the steel mold.
