Glad to see you back at it, Dave!  I also have been away from the workshop for a long while (life -divorce, etc).

You know how I feel about your work -simply outstanding!  This is such a treat to see your work again.

It IS nice to see you back on this build Dave.   The new bits are gorgeous (of course) and I love in your stacked tray for the coil etc. Picked up that little detail on your Braille battery tray and securing the cables to it.  Nice.  I still can't believe how far you've come with that body that you had to work with.   It's looking pretty sharp now........far cry from what it was.   Congrats!   cheers, tim

Glad to see you back on this one; just in time to give me a fresh dose of motivation and enthusiasm for the new year. Absolutely stellar!

An increadable model, the amount of detail included is staggering.  Every where I look in the photos I see individual works of art and engineering as well as superb machining skills. The look and feel of the model are 100 percent true to how someone like Tim McAmis would build the real car. I am so glad you are presenting this build here and it is a privilege to be able to watch your progress.

Godspeed Dave,  you are missed.  I hope you’re getting to complete this build and cruise your Pro/Street ‘37 Chevy in a better place Brother.  -Mark

Mark, no better words could be said. He would have celebrated a recent birth date if he were still with us. He was a friend I'm proud to say besides being my mentor.  His work stands the test of time and he'll certainly be missed.  I personally appreciate the fact you brought his thread back up to remember him by.  He was a good man.  Respectfully, Tim

Agreed. I didn't know he was gone.

He was a true master.

I also didn't know that Dave had left us; he used to drop by and come back from time to time, always with constructive comments, always ready to help for a good cause.  Another incredible talent has left us, but his presence will remain etched in my memory. Thank you for the inspiration and for being a larger-than-life figure!

Rest in peace!
