James ,

This is a really awesome looking build so far man. I really like the outlaw 10.5 look that's happening with this build. I know alot of the guys were not real happy about you dropping that chevy engine into a Ford and I can kinda understand that (If I was a ford guy I'd probably feel the same way) however this year I've seen alot of Mustangs with chevy power in them running in the Outlaw, Limited Street, EZ Street and other heads up classes. I've been kinda shocked at the frequency that this has been happening lately and most of the cars I've seen like this were some of the top running cars in their classes. With that said I still like the Fords powered by Fords and the Chevys powered by a Chevy and I'm glad you have a Ford Mill to drop in it now. Keep up the awesome work man I can't wait to see how this one turns out. You've given me an idea as I have both these kits LOL.

That build is gonna look great when its done! If i can ask one dumb question, what is the red substance in the first picture? looks like bondo or something. And if i can add my opinion i would definitely go with a FORD engine. I believe its actually a crime to put a chevy engine in that! good goin!

Its been a long time. And I almost forgot about this kit altogether. But after almost a year, I am back again on it.

Again, 3mens2, I cant thank you enough for sending me that engine, and I bet you were getting alittle nervous thinking I wouldnt be workin on this one.

Sorry for the long delay.

I have fabbed up a new cowl seeing as I didnt like the one I made previously. The rear end has been mounted to the frame and the frame is mocked up to see how to tackle the front end. Well, as soon as I get the frame tackled I can work on the engine.

Got some more work done to the Pro Street.

Frame has been shortened. The front shocks have been mounted and surprisingly mount into the holes in the wheel wells for the shock towers. Now to start working on the motor.

No instructions for anything. But who needs those. The only instructions I have are from the 93 Mustang kit.LOL

Scratchbuilt the intercooler today.

After searching my house, I am missing pieces to the motor that 3mens2 gave me. So, since I am going to detail this one to the max, I will be getting a Ross Gibson motor. Not the plan that I was going for, but it is what it is.

Looking good so far.

I think at this point you should put a Toyota Supra engine in it, just to tick everybody off! :)

Heck NO!!

I say Mazda quad rotary Wankel with twin turbos! Can anyone say Zingin' the RPMs?

Or you could go the other route - 392 Hemi with a front mounted blower - like my avatar.

Its a Pontiac powered Ford, something different. Whats the plan for color?

Actually it is a Pontiac headed - Chevy block.

Truthfully - There isn't a stock Chevy or Pontiac part in those ProMod motors - it is all aftermarket!

So come on - It is getting to the point where a motor is a motor. Its not what you use - its how you use it.
