Body was warped so i fiquredi would straighten it after i got it glued togather...... Wire is photo etched thought i would give it a try this time, also made carb linkages, fuel line. Here she is almost completed.......the front fenders and door units i cut off the donor body while the white piece is left over
randx0 Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 great job ,I have that same project going but I used a different donor kit but it's funny that we both approached the warped body the same way.

I hear ya there! i taped it to my new body board and used a hair dryer to straighten it, the piece of tape on the back is what i used everytime i heated it up i would tighten the tape till i got the body straight then let it sit over night. seem to have worked........ You wouldnt have an extra pair of bumpers would ya? mine are like junk but i could fix em...........
93Z34 Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 That is a kit i would love to see reissued. I owned 4 of those 1:1 cars when I was a teenager and have always wanted to build them in scale. You did a great job on that resto project! It is one sweet looking Camaro to say the least.
