Tribute Build Part II of II: Bywayman

I started this one a few years ago. Now I’m able to finish it. It’s going to be painted to match the car, that’s in Part I of this build.

Here’s where I’m at on the truck. The brown truck I posted in Under Glass started falling apart on me, so I took it apart and using it as the platform for this build. Also is a picture of the plate I’m using on this truck.

Since I’m rebuilding the truck, here’s the wired engine. Quite tricky to do, when the engine is in the chassis.

I have the interior completed.

I have the body painted and decals applied. Once I get all of the decals on, I’ll clear it, then do the detail painting of the truck.

The cab and bed are coming along nicely. Now I just need to detail paint the body, then it’ll be ready for assembly.

It’s coming along nicely. I might do one more post of this before it’s done, but I’m not sure.

It’s almost done. Got the bed glued together and onto the back of the truck. I’m thinking I’m liking it better this way. I’ll be putting this, with the Firebird in Under Glass, for both cars and trucks, since they go with each other.
