From ‘98 to ‘00, I worked at a Hobby Store in Puyallup WA called All Hobbies. I had a nice dark red and black GMC Syclone that I did, I also converted it to 2wd ARII tires on a set of wheels, from the Tom Danial Alternomad kit. In about ‘03 or ‘04, the owner just closed everything down and never contacted anyone who had stuff on display, so I lost that GMC Syclone I did. So now, here’s my build of that truck again. Here’s a picture of the Johnny Lightning that inspired the first build.

I’ll be using these wheels & tires, from the Revell ‘65 Chevy Stepside 2 ‘n 1. I’m wanting the rear end to sit up a lil taller, so I may end up using the rear springs from a MPC Deserter kit.

While looking at this decal sheet, I got the idea to build my own custom tonneau cover using these. I might also see about using some craft sticks and photoetch bed floor strips and make the tonneau out of real wood and metal strips.
