ns4ever Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 searching hanks web site for some inspiration earlier, and found this beast. Just have to have a 1:25 version. Ok so the tank, cab and pipes and stuff are no problem. Problem I have is where on earth do they put the engine in this thing?? as well, I would imagine there would be the equipment cabinet thing that most refuellers seem to have, presuming it's on the other side??? any info or speculation would be more than welcome, cheers!! andi-b- http://www.hankstruckpictures.com/pix/truc...ne/file0003.jpg
Jason Posted January 28, 2009 Posted January 28, 2009 Hey, the engine is usually located just behind the 2 front steer axles. our USAF "K" loaders are basically the same thing just a smidge wider and have a flatbed on top. the engine is usually a diesel V-8 ours have either the 3208T or a 7.3L IDI if you need more info feel free to ask.
