87 Grand Posted January 30, 2009 Posted January 30, 2009 Hey guys just trying to finish this one up. Hopefully by the weekend I should be able to show the finished pics. Just the Revel kit, nothing special. I just wanted a little twist. Wired and plumbed the motor with some PE parts. A little blue and some great wheels for some iceing and there you go. Heres what I have so far. Feel free to comment and please enjoy. Next pics coming this weekend.... stay tuned.
RJWood Posted January 30, 2009 Posted January 30, 2009 Looks like another quality build comming out of your shop. Cant wait for more pix.
RodneyBad Posted January 30, 2009 Posted January 30, 2009 Nice detail on the motor. Great Looking Lil Datsun. Be cool to have one of those.
DR Dubois Posted January 30, 2009 Posted January 30, 2009 Awesome little ride! That motor looks great along with everything else.
87 Grand Posted January 31, 2009 Author Posted January 31, 2009 Man guys I don't know what to say. I guess all I need to say is thanks. I sure appreciate all the great comments and feedback that your giving me on this build. I promise to finish strong and make sure I don't disapoint. Hopefully I'll finish up this weekend and post final pics of this one. Again thanks everyone for looking and enjoying.
Fletch Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 Guess I'm dating myself but I remember when those were all the rage on the streets here in Portland. If you were anybody wanting to be seen as a car guy you had a Datsun 510. Then they left the streets and ended up at Portland International Raceway running in SCCA. Great looking build, nice and clean. Without a doubt one of my favorite cars of all time but for what ever reason I have never bought the kit.
Tonioseven Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 Yeah, I seriously doubt that today's tuner movement would be where it is without that car! I have one waiting to be built somewhere. You should be proud, you're doing great on that kit!!!
