tbill Posted December 27, 2022 Posted December 27, 2022 Finished this a few weeks ago, built one as a kid/teen, I think this one came out better, haha. Pretty nice kit for its age, and I think I’ll build a few more of these monogram classics kits, something a bit different from my normal muscle car and big rig projects . As always , thanks for looking. 4 Quote
Phildaupho Posted December 27, 2022 Posted December 27, 2022 Cool classic. I really like the color combination. Quote
Classicgas Posted December 28, 2022 Posted December 28, 2022 Beautiful. Love to see pics on a white background. I use poster board. It'll really make it pop. Quote
bbowser Posted December 28, 2022 Posted December 28, 2022 Really nice! I love seeing these old Monogram classics built. Quote
70 Sting Posted December 28, 2022 Posted December 28, 2022 Like a piece of expensive jewelry. Nice build. Quote
PhilX Posted December 28, 2022 Posted December 28, 2022 Nicely done. Love the classic Monogram kits. Their only problem are the too thick wire wheels. But it's very difficult to fix it. Quote
happy grumpy Posted December 28, 2022 Posted December 28, 2022 Great take on a classic. Monogram classic series are great kits. I wish they'd re issued them, providing the molds still exist. Quote
radiohd10 Posted January 4, 2023 Posted January 4, 2023 nice job! i'm working on this same kit right now. quick question - did you glue the firewall to the body before painting or after? I'm tempted to do it before but don't want to screw up the final fit - the thing is already a little fidgety. Quote
Lobo2me Posted January 4, 2023 Posted January 4, 2023 Really nice! Love the color combination and passenger leg room! Quote
tbill Posted January 4, 2023 Author Posted January 4, 2023 Thanks for the comments everyone, was a fun build, something different for me. Quote
