Chase Elliotts 2018 Camaro from his victory at Watkins Glenn

Need help with the body color for the camaro Chase won with at Watkins Glenn. It was a 2018 Camaro. Its some sort of blue. I have everything but the paint to build the car that was his first NASCAR victory.

Thanks for the info and pictures, I didnt know that the wheels were like an orange metallic color. hopefully I can get this correct.

That car appeared to be a candy blue, almost like an early Hot Wheels "spectraflame" finish. Not really metallic to my eye.  I would think layering transparent blue over a chrome-like finish would do it. Wheels were what I would describe as transparent orange over chrome. Here is a picture I took before the race, you can see how it looked in the sun. Beautiful car. Good luck with your build.

I used Splash Paints Lexus Blue Pearl Tricoat on my build.  It’s a little purple, but has that depth of color I was looking for

Spectacular effort. More pics please. Love the detail under the hood. Where does one find those hood hinges?

Here you go… the hinges were from MAS.  They went out of business some time ago though.  Every now and then some of their stuff pops up at shows or on eBay.
