Looking for a complete flathead 6 engine.

Brand not terribly important, it's going into a kit-bash Willys pickup.  Prefer a complete engine.  Assembled or on the parts tree is fine.  Gluebomb is good too, as long as it's reasonably complete and can be stripped and repainted.  1/25th scale.

I have three boxes full of various Willys parts and the complete dump body from the AMT DC-9964B Autocar dump truck to offer in trade.

Thanks for looking!

The only flathead 6 that I know of and is readily available, is in the AMT 41 Plymouth kit.  I used mine to build my Plymouth into a short-track racer. Wish I could help more.

That's a lead anyway.  Thanks!

The Mobeus '53 Hudson Hornet kit has a nice straight 6.

Hi, I just joined. Did you find a flathead?

I have one mostly complete, couldn't find belt/pulley piece

The part between the two parts trees is for the V-8 in the Plymouth kit. Just hate for you to lose it then decide you want to build the V-8 for something. Just an FYI it's a little replacement for the AMT Chrysler Kit car oval track race cars as the the one that is in those kits is a little too small, closer to 1/26th or 1/27th scale.

Another odd-ball source: the AMT 3in1 boat kit, c. 1960, came with a stock Chris-Craft flathead six, marine style.  I still have mine; not very detailed and in my parts stash 63 years now...  The alternative engine was a sorta' Lincoln, very crude and lacking detail, but 1/25 scale motors were super scarce in '60; only in '61 did they start to prolificate in kits.  I remember...   I restored my boat, keeping all of the blue 'custom' rattle-can metallic paint I put on it back when.  It wasn't a bad kit at all!  Let me know if you need it; I only ask postage as my retirement income is limited and being eaten up.  Wick, 78
