As I am selling my 1/1 1962 Pontiac Tempest LeMans ragtop tomorrow (>sniff!<), my Holy Grail kit is the 1/25 scale version of it.  I hear its rare, but I have a Hubley metal SSJ roadster kit I'm offering as bait for an unbuilt kit.  Includes everything and instructions, pretty clean box.  Any leads? Or other offers on Deusie?  Wick

Jeff, yeah, and thx!  I heard about that one, and I don't think my trade offer will get it done.  Maybe without eBay's tiny little commission?  A forum member has a body and some parts that are very nice, if I can fake the tub, chassis, etc.  I hope to comp it anyhow!  Wick

OKay: I am using the chassis from my 'new' '63 LeMans kit because like my 1/1 car (gone now) it shows an automatic transmission. The build is coming along nicely, partially due to it being box-stock, other than hinging the hood and opening/hinging the trunk.  Disabled Modeler sent me back my annual kit deluxe wheel covers, much thanks!

The '63 kit is using a resin surface-cast 'frame' platform from a mold taken from it's original, but converted to a stick-shift, just for variety!  The '63 platform, on the other hand, had to have the driver's side dual exhaust ground off to work for my '62 build!  Also, the IRS is not well represented, so I put in a tube 'axle housing' then poured that recess full of resin, to enable me to grind away the extra bulk from the half-shafts.  Still not very accurate, but we try!?  Wick
