fool-proof Flocking

That's a subjective statement.

White glue will give you perfect results if you do it right.

 

I'll give you that there's more than one way to skin a cat, but that doesn't necessarily equate with "better".

That looks like superb embossing powder application. To each their own. I just like the results with flocking and spray adhesive.

I have no doubt that you like your technique.

I just objected to the “much, much better” exclamation.

As I said, there are many different ways to achieve your objective, and do it well.

Everybody has different experiences.

“Much, much better” is pretty subjective.

The "Best Technique" is the one you have mastered, that consistently gives "you" results you are happy with. Much of this hobby consists of figuring out which skill sets you can use to get the results you want.
