Modlbldr Posted April 2, 2023 Posted April 2, 2023 I'm looking for a spray bomb match to either of Dodge's 68 FF-1 Light green poly or TT- Medium green Poly. Something in Testors or Tamiya line preferably. Anybody know of anything? Later-
Shark Posted April 3, 2023 Posted April 3, 2023 I would check MCW. It would be exact and I think they still do spray cans. Most cans on the shelf are 8 or 9 dollars anymore, plus MCW's cans go further. My thinking is what is a few extra bucks compared to the kit cost and time invested in building.

If I recall correctly, MCW no longer offers spray cans. Don’t remember where I heard that, and it’s certainly worth checking into, but I believe it is the case. Steve
Carmak Posted April 3, 2023 Posted April 3, 2023 My 1968 FF1 Dodge Coronet convertible. I know this does not answer your question, just posting for inspiration.
1972coronet Posted April 3, 2023 Posted April 3, 2023 Scale Finishes has those colours : 60s Dodge (scalefinishes.com) MCW : MCW Finishes I've never used either manufacturer's offering, so I can't personally attest to the quality, etc. Like you, I employ Tamiya aerosols (at least 97% of the time) -- too bad that the paint chips are such poor representations of the actual colours. Here's the direct link to Tamiya USA's site's aerosol paints : Shop / Tamiya USA

Here's the direct link to Tamiya USA's site's aerosol paints : Shop / Tamiya USA I can vouch for both MCW and Scale Finishes!! Both produce EXCELLENT acrylic lacquers, and some enamels as well. But, unfortunately, I don’t think either one offers paint in spray cans anymore. But, I might be wrong, so check out their websites. If they do still offer spray cans, they come at quite a price! Let’s just say that for the price of 4 or 5 cans, you could buy a nice airbrush, and then your paint searches would be over! ? This is a shot of a ‘69 Coronet I did some years ago in MCW Mopar, F-Code, “Light Green Poly”. Steve 1
