oldcars Posted December 27, 2006 Posted December 27, 2006 Just checked out the site. They have some great old sports car bodies. Could also use some of the 24th scale bodies for some out of sight models. 8)
n9949y Posted January 4, 2007 Posted January 4, 2007 My 1/24th scale slot car model of the Dean Van Lines 1958 Lister/Corvette Al Polack drove at the Los Angeles Times Grand Prix, October, 1968.
oldcars Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 Thank you for showing the old Lister. Looks real good. Can almost hear it . Do you have a 24th scale track in Eugene?
n9949y Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 Yes, Richard, we do in Eugene, Or have a 1/24th track called www.pelicanparkspeedway.com. With 20 active members we have been racing every week without interruption 1/24th scratchbuilt model cars for 20 years now. Pelican park is a unique operation in that we capture in miniature the essence of the many forms and eras of motor sports from the 1930's to the present.
