windshield question?

I am working on a 56 chevy gasser and I am not sure how to recreate the quater mile times that are written in white shoe polish in the side windows and or front windshield. Any ideas???

White Gel Pen sold at Michaels, AC Moore, or Wally world. Also could use a REALLLY sharp Crayon, or the fine point White-Out pens.
