Can someone tell me about the Harley kits made by Imai? I am curious about the quality and accuarcy of these kits. I also wonder about the Imex Harleys.

Thanks

Don't know about Imai, but I've built several of the Imex Harleys, and they're fantastic!

Great detail, easy to build. I've added some additional detail and/or customized these to some extent, but still, out of the box they're great!

Imai and Imex are the same kits. I forget now which name changed into which name. They seem to be hard to find now, but then, I don't get involved with Ebay.

They are excellently detailed, accurate kits.

Sweet build Lyle, but that is not called a "Cowglide"....Harley called it the "Nostalgia Glide"....Everyone I know in Milwaukee called it the"MOO Glide"

I suspect the name change came after the Evo motors came out in '84....had to do with royalties??
