What are you guys using for spark plug wiring? Is it cloth? I have been looking at some of detailed motor pics, it looks like a fishing line we use for big game fishing. It comes in white, yellow, and green. The term used to describe this line is braided hollow core kevlar line. The most popular trade name is PowerPro, perhaps some of you might be familiar with it. It seems that the diameter of the line is ideal. There are many diameters available, some thick enough to perhaps make radiator hoses. The hollow core can be streched over a plastic part to simulate a braided hose, painting it in aluminum or any other color would be interesting. Since the line is not going to go in the water the paint will hold up fine.

I use 30AWG "Wrapping wire" from Radio Shack. It's a single strand wire with a thin jacket, and is available in red, white, and blue (God bless the USA!!). It can be painted, but you'll probably have to do a few touchups after the wires are installed. I use a #75 drill for the holes, and insulation stripped from slightly larger wire for spark plug boots.

Many of the aftermarket companies and hobby shops sell detail wire in many colors. Some call it ignition wire. If you have an old phone cord laying around,,,uh,,,,not in use, or in your walls :D ,,,you can strip the insulation and use all the various wires inside. Some people buy rolls of it at Radio Shack.
