moparmagiclives Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 Has anyone ever made or purchesd 1/24 fender covers before, I did a search around here and didnt come up with anything. I had some paint bleed under on a fender and I dont want to repaint the whole car. It's been decaled, cleared and BMF'ed already and I decided to pait the engine bay black. Now I have little fingers going down the hood line on the left fender. Any help would be great.
Lyle Willits Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 I use painted masking tape for tarps, tonneau covers, roof inserts on '32 Fords, etc. Seems to me that you could cut masking tape the size you need for a fender cover and paint in whatever color you want with water-based acrylic paints, i.e. Polly Scale.
