khier
Comparison of my design with revell's samba bus showed that while the roof and tail gate are very close to the Revell kit, my trailer has rounded sides. The wheel opening is clearly off. I am 100% positive I followed the blueprints. Perhaps the blueprints themselves are not accurate. Anyway, accurate or not, since my trailer is intended to join the Revell bus, Revell design will be the reference. Back to the drawing board.
stitchdup
I dont think it looks that far away. The eriba camper trailers were more rounded than the vans

The eriba camper trailers were more rounded than the vans Stick to the van or stick to my preference...... that is a difficult choice... Anyway, the shape is a minor issue that I corrected within minutes. I had to correct many design deficiencies revealed by the first test print. The multi piece design was scrapped and replaced by a uni-body. I kept the roof separate to facilitate the painting process, and for display purposes should an interior be added in the future. The new body-roof interface is much more elaborate than the four thin corner pins of the initial design. Moreover, the sides are enforces by a dense grid of webs. I tried to avoid using them to add an interior easily in the future. I will add pictures as soon as they are ready.
