Daryl Romain Posted July 2, 2023 Posted July 2, 2023 Pretty sure this is an old Perry's Resin body. Uses the interior, and shortened chassis of an Mpc '79 El Camino glue bomb rebuilder. Motor is a Salvino nascar small block Chevy. Recent build. 4
Rattlecan Dan Posted July 2, 2023 Posted July 2, 2023 Nice build. Looks like it's waiting for numbers and/or sponsorship decals.
espo Posted July 2, 2023 Posted July 2, 2023 Great looking little Malibu. Always liked the 1:1 car as well. Like the stance and the engine detailing.
Danno Posted July 2, 2023 Posted July 2, 2023 Nice. ALWAYS good to see a '78-'80 Malibu! Very underrated street machine.
bisc63 Posted July 2, 2023 Posted July 2, 2023 Nice looking model. We really need a full detail kit of this body style!

Koellefornia Kid Posted July 4, 2023 Posted July 4, 2023 Always felt sorry that no major brand ever kitted these Malibus... Very nice work!

It was supposed to be a 'sleeper' street racer. I like the way it came out, but I don't think anyone will sleep on it., lol. Thanks.

It was a relatively quick and simple build. Low parts count. Most involved part of the build was preparing the resin body. 1
