Dave Van
I liked it. Back in the mid 1980's I'd take the kids downtown Charlotte on TUE before the World 600 to see the 600 Parade. The last thing in the parade were the team show cars......being driven by show car handlers. After the parade would end the show car drivers would 'drive' the cars back down the parade route to the trailers. Sometimes things would get very fast and a bit wild. Most people had left but if you knew you hung around for the best part. Even at 6 years old my son would say NASCAR needs a street race!! The rain was a blessing and a curse. Kept the wrecks to a minimum, still had a bunch, but single file prevented many more. The last 10 laps were some of the best in recent NASCAR cup racing....going back to Marcos Ambrose and Brad K at Watkins Glen. We'll see next year what happens. Thrilled with the winner! webestang
Have not watched a NASCAR race in years (I'm more of a F1 fan) but I DVR'd this one to see what it's like.
TonyK
After the Xfinity race disaster I really enjoyed the Cup race....once they got it going. Very happy with the winner.
espo
Lost interest when Rowdy stuffed his car into the tire barrier. He approached the corner like his throttle was stuck wide open. Saw the rain tires they were using on one screen shot, they didn't look like they would work, and they didn't. With the condition of the streets even in the dry this would have been a dicey deal, add rain and you saw what you would get. Maybe they'll

I have liked F1 as long as NASCAR...........But the last 18 months of F1 is what I call Nap Time........... But I can always relive the glory days.......

A F1 or any other road race series would be great race.
Mike 1017
I grew up in Chicago. There was a very tight S curve on LSD that got straightened out because of too many accidents. I always thought that LSD would be a great racecourse. Alot of drivers found out that Muscle Cars didn't turn very well. Mike

Well, it was interesting. But since I had no one to root for I was a bit board. Last driver I was a fan of was Mark Martin. Oh well, another F1 race this weekend so theres that.
