Oliver77 Posted July 9, 2023 Posted July 9, 2023 This has been banging around in the junkbox all these years. My Mom had to reach it for 10 yr old me in Hills dept store in the Boardman Plaza in 1963. I had built a few Hawk style model planes but Man! that 63 Corvette was IT! Multiple layers of customization, (felt seats, saw that in a mag), paint, and use as a slot car. 3
echo Posted July 10, 2023 Posted July 10, 2023 Nice to see survivors. Is there a dedicated page for survivor models ?
Oliver77 Posted July 10, 2023 Author Posted July 10, 2023 I think the Testors silver paint is almost dry on the trim. 3
atomicholiday Posted July 10, 2023 Posted July 10, 2023 Very cool. Are you planning anything special for it? Would look good just cleaned up and put back together.
ncbuckeye67 Posted July 10, 2023 Posted July 10, 2023 I loved Hill's! The smell of the popcorn and those frozen Coke slushies! I used to ride my bike there, to spend my paper route money on model kits and records.
