Deano Posted October 9, 2006 Posted October 9, 2006 First up is my little boy's first build that he completed all by himself. Up to this point Dad has had to help with some portion of the assembly. On this one, I did have to drill out a hole but Grant built this one. It's a 1/32 scale rally car kit from Revell. Next up is a quickie paint experiment. Testors 'Chezooom' painted with Duplicolor Metal Specks Orange and clear coated with Deft Gloss Clear. This was another quickie,; an AMT 1964 Galaxie painted with Tamiya Bright Red. This one helped me break out of a bit of a slump. This one is being built for the Tuner Challenge at the Kirkwood MO Fall Show. It's an Aoshima Mazda RX-8.
Marc @ MPC Motorsports Posted October 9, 2006 Posted October 9, 2006 I've seen those little rally cars at Hobby Town...cool!!! That Galaxie is the bomb!!! Great way to get out of your slump. Keep us posted on the Mazda. How did you do the stripes on that one?
