StanGlover
Now that Revell has made the MPC/AMT ‘71-‘73 Mustang kits obsolete… here’s my AMT 007 Mustang Mach 1! I left most of the kit’s inaccuracies intact, and built it as-is out of box. I did fill in the hood vent though. Body and interior are painted Rustoleum Gloss Apple Red over Tamiya pink primer with Krylon semigloss Black for the lower body. Cleared with Pledge floor gloss. I mistakenly glued the firewall to the interior tub and didn’t notice until final assembly. It should be glued into the body shell, further forward. I had to trim the firewall sides down to get the glued chassis and tub into the body. I managed to make the grossly inaccurate engine bay even worse! vamach1
Very nice build and the paint is great. You will be so much happier with the new Revell Bosss 351 kit and the Mach1 version which should be available next year.

Yeah Nah
Looks fantastic mate. I saw Diamonds Are Forever on the big screen as a kid when it was released. Thought it was the most awesome thing I'd ever seen! I still get up YT clips to re-watch that chase in the carpark and streets of Las Vegas. StanGlover
@Yeah Nah My childhood was the Pierce Brosnan era so those hold a special place in my heart (“The World Is Not Enough” is the earliest one I saw in theaters). But “Diamonds Are Forever” is definitely one of my favorite Bond films, right behind Goldfinger!
