MPC Charger 500

Finished this a while ago but never got around to taking any pictures...

Painted with nail polish and topped with 2K clear. The kit tail stripes wouldn't cooperate, so I dug these out of the decal collection. I like the white better than black.

The recall wheels came from Airtraxx, the tires I think come from Modelhaus.

I didn't deviate too far from box stock, this kit is so wrong on so many levels I figured it would look just fine as produced by MPC. I'm pretty happy with it, for what it is.

Your right about the kit and all it's problems, but you made it look pretty cool.... The recall mags can also be found in the amt 69 Cuda kit I believe...

I wish they would reissue this kit with new and improved parts like they did with the 68 coronet rt or revell would make one though with how they have issues with reissuing the other 68-70 factory stock charger kits I don’t think they would make one

Beautiful looking finish and color. Like the engine detailing. As you mentioned there are some short comings with the basic kit, but when assembled and detailed like this you don't really notice them so much.

Yep. I used a set on my 69 Dart. I have another set somewhere. Beautiful work btw. It's stunning.
